Japanese-made T-Patch

This patch dates later than most classified under the WWII period and is in fact a Japanese-made variant. These patches were produced in small numbers by local Japanese tailors to outfit former 36th ID soldiers who had been transferred to the pacific following the conclusion of hostilities. This patch would have almost always been on the right sleeve of a soldier representing his combat service in the 36th. The patch features somewhat standard bordering but is filled with an extremely fine silk-like material.
